Postsecondary Transition
Our services don't stop with earning your high school equivalency diploma! It is our goal to help students transition to postsecondary education, training, or the workforce. Dedicated transition specialists meet regularly with students to help them in exploring training opportunities in high-need jobs that lead to family-sustaining wages.
You'll have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with one of our transition specialists to help you set employment goals, develop an individualized career pathway, and identify the steps needed to get there. This might include exploring low-cost training and certificate opportunities, applying for college or financial aid, or practicing the employability skills that can lead to success and graduation.
We also offer specialized classes in high-priority occupations, such as manufacturing, construction trades, and nursing. These classes provide opportunities to improve the academic and employability skills you need to succeed in training or employment.
All of this, along with our partnerships with PA CareerLink®, local training programs, and employers will help you build a pathway to success!
