Community Services
The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit 5, an educational service agency, enriches diverse communities by creating and implementing quality services to meet the current and emerging needs of all learners through safe and innovative environments.
The Federal & State Program Department within the IU5 has many services that it provides to over 30 of the 69 counties within Pennsylvania. Such community services include: Adult Education & Career Readiness, Foster Care, Homeless Services, Migrant Education, and a Summer Food program for children.
